Welcome to Branford Publishers.
This Service Agreement & Non-Disclosure Policy ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions under which Branford Publishers ("we," "our," or "us") provides publishing, marketing, and related services to authors ("you," "your," or "client"). By engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
1. Scope of Services
Branford Publishers offers a range of services including, but not limited to:
- Book Writing & Editing
- Book Design & Formatting
- Publishing Assistance
- Marketing & Promotional Campaigns
- Distribution Support
All services are provided for an upfront cost, with pricing dependent on the selected package or promotional campaign.
Each package clearly lists the deliverables included. Any additional services or requests outside the agreed package may require separate billing or approval.
Excluded Services:
- Third-party distribution or advertising fees not included in your package
- Paid ads on external platforms (unless specified in your plan)
- Any service not explicitly listed in your package agreement
2. Publishing, Distribution & Marketing Roles
Branford Publishers acts as a publishing service provider, not as a literary agent or publisher of record.
Our responsibilities include:
- Assisting in preparing your manuscript for publishing
- Providing marketing strategies and campaign execution (as per selected plan)
- Facilitating distribution connections with local bookstores, online vendors, and third-party platforms where applicable
Your responsibilities as the author include:
- Providing accurate and complete manuscript content
- Cooperating in revisions, feedback, and marketing coordination
- Participating in promotional efforts when required
Please note that results may vary depending on book genre, audience engagement, platform algorithms, and promotional efforts by both Branford Publishers and the author.
3. Royalties & Revenue
Branford Publishers does not guarantee or promise book sales or revenue.
All royalties generated from book sales belong to the author, excluding:
- Platform service fees (e.g., Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble, etc.)
- Printing, shipment, and handling charges
- Marketing or distribution costs (if applicable)
We assist in setting up and managing distribution accounts but do not retain ownership or control over your royalties.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Our refund and cancellation policy is available in detail on our Terms and Conditions page.
All refund requests are subject to review based on service progress, deliverables, and project stage at the time of request.
5. Timelines & Deliverables
We strive to deliver high-quality work within reasonable timeframes.
The initial draft of your project will typically be delivered within 3 business days of confirmation and material submission.
Timelines for subsequent revisions, design, and publishing stages may vary depending on project complexity and author feedback responsiveness.
Authors are responsible for reviewing and approving deliverables promptly to avoid unnecessary delays.
6. Copyright & Ownership
The author retains full ownership of all intellectual property, including manuscript content, cover design, and all creative materials produced under this agreement.
Branford Publishers does not claim ownership of any intellectual property developed on behalf of the author.
By engaging our services, you grant us limited permission to use the materials solely for the purpose of fulfilling your project and, with your consent, for portfolio or testimonial showcases.
7. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Branford Publishers is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information and materials provided by the author.
We agree that:
- All manuscripts, concepts, and client data will remain strictly confidential.
- We will not disclose, sell, or share your materials with any third party without your written consent.
- Confidentiality extends beyond the completion or termination of the project.
Authors are encouraged to maintain confidentiality of internal documents, proposals, and communications received from Branford Publishers as well.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we take every reasonable measure to ensure quality, Branford Publishers shall not be held liable for:
- Delays caused by third-party distributors, platforms, or vendors
- Market performance or sales results of the published book
- Losses arising from author inaction, delayed feedback, or incomplete information
9. Agreement Acceptance
By using our website, requesting a quote, or purchasing any service, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Service Agreement & Non-Disclosure Policy.

10. Updates to This Agreement
Branford Publishers reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement as necessary. Updates will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date above.
